SWORD OF HAILSTONE app is a single player role playing hex crawl game available on iOS and Android. As a lone barbarian wielding nothing but your trusty Zweihänder and a few morsels of salted fish, you traverse a dangerous tundra featuring many perilous locations and surprising threats in search for the fabled SWORD OF HAILSTONE.
With combat and character features built with the popular and gritty Mörk Borg role playing game at it’s core, Sword of Hailstone app features gameplay similar to digital RPGs and point-and-click adventures of the 80s and 90s.
SWORD OF HAILSTONE app features:

Classic turn based combat, featuring many natural and supernatural threats
Hex-based navigation (digital and physical maps are not required, but will enrich your experience)

Get your bearings with a map
As you traverse the plains via the companion app, you will note there are quite a few unique locations and sights to see. A visual reference of the area will be desirable for your travels.

During production of the Sword of Hailstone album, a handful of ideas never quite made it to the final track list. Throughout the SWORD OF HAILSTONE app, you will be rewarded with “compact discs”. You will find these disks in various places; corpse plundering slain enemies, completing special tasks and defeating bosses.
Track styles will vary greatly in production and style. Some are great, some are cutting floor material.
Note that Bandcamp codes will be available on a first-come-first-serve basis. They will be replenished in the app as additional codes are assigned to Desolation Plains from Bandcamp.

SWORD OF HAILSTONE app has been a labor of love for me (Nikolas). I am the sole developer of this project and while it’s been a hell of a fun time designing and building… it requires a lot of time and energy.
I have an incredible amount of ideas, however.
After it’s initial release, my plan is to periodically add materials and functionality to the game in the form of weapons, encounters, spells, abilities, omens, rules, Dungeon Master mode, etc. If you play through today, please check back later on. You might be pleasantly surprised with updates.

Hidden Album: False Prophesies
As you traverse the plains of Kergüs, dark visions cloud your mind and inhibit your judgement, rotting the fold between reality and fantasy.

False Prophesies is a compilation album featuring ten tracks of conceptual dark ambient and dungeon synth. The album features a range of esoteric soundscapes, comfy synth whimsy, and forlorn militant marching tunes.
False Prophesies will currently only available only through discovering band camp codes in the Sword of Hailstone app.
